Starting in the HVAC industry in 1974 Barry has been involved in IT infrastructure in general and data centres in particular, going back well over 20 years to water cooled IBM main frames and international BT telecommunication nodes. Barry brings to InflectionTech extensive knowledge and experience in the design and project management of all MEP systems for Data Centres.
Barry is also engaged by DCProfessional as a Master Instructor to develop and run their international training courses on Data Centre design and management. Barry’s professional credentials include BICSI RCDD, MIET, MBCS, Intermediate Certificate in EU Code of Conduct and DCS Design. Barry is chair of BICSi UK and Ireland District and is an active contributor and editor of BICSI standards including 002, 007 (Intelligent Buildings) and the forthcoming 009 Data Centre Operations.
Recent experience includes strategic, concept and detailed design for international Data Centres including large financial institutions in Turkey.

Since 2003 Ufuk has had involvement in Cloud and Data Centre infrastructure projects worldwide, assisting in the transformation of IT environments to meet the constant demand of new technologies.
Ufuk has contributed to both the expansion and upgrade of Data Centres globally including the deployment of a global Cloud platform for NTT’s global operations and contributing to providing disaster recovery techniques to ensure reliance on services.
Experienced knowledge of Data Centre feasibility studies and development of strategies for large banking clients Data Centre Facilities and subsequent build-outs in Turkey including Ziraat Bank, Garanti Bank and KKB that were three key projects.
Ufuk’s professional credentials include PRINCE2® Registered Practitioner, Agile Project Management Practitioner and APMP: The APM Project Management Qualification.
